As an employer, we are committed to providing the necessary training for our teams to achieve their goals, offering them the tools to facilitate their daily work and reduce their exposure to risk. The motto “Taking care of the world, taking care of our world” is a deeply held belief that takes shape in many ways. In addition to the acquisition of numerous pieces of state-of-the-art equipment, since 2018, we have been operating our own training centre to allow our employees to remain up to date with the latest practices in the trade while building a succession of expert roofers in their field. From generation to generation, the passing on of Hogue know-how is now ensured by the introduction of a key position: the quality manager and trainer, the “site mentor” who visits the various sites on a daily basis to support our roofers, recognize their good work and help the younger ones, not hesitating to offer them updates at the training centre when needed.

Making safety

The safety of our employees and clients is very important to us, and that is why we have acquired so much equipment throughout our operations. Safety at Toitures Hogue and our in-house OHS training programs strongly emphasize the importance of prevention. Our teams have access to all the required material and personal protective equipment and can count on the presence of a health and safety specialist. In addition to the high priority Toitures Hogue places on prevention on a daily basis, site visits are made regularly and rigorous inspection of equipment and validation of OHS standards are carried out.
It is also to ensure the safety of our people that we have sought original ways to encourage good practices. Among these, the team with the best performance in terms of health and safety at work earns a visit to their site from our official Sugar Hogue food truck!

At Toitures Hogue, we take pride in providing our team with all the tools they need to do their jobs. This is why, since 2018, we are very proud to say that we have our own training centre. This allows our employees to have the best expertise on the market, by training them properly according to the current industry norms and requirements and to Hogue standards. New employees can thus join the Toitures Hogue team with a thorough knowledge of their trade and in perfect adequacy with the values that make our reputation.
